Eugene DMV to close for remodeling

Office will be closed Nov. 3-7 for improvements and updates to interior

The Eugene DMV field office will be closed Nov. 3 through 7 for improvements and updates to the interior of the building.
The office, located at 2870 West 10th Place, will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, and will reopen Monday, Nov. 10. The office’s business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except Wednesdays when the office opens at 9 a.m.
All state offices will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day.
Because DMV offices tend to have longer lines just before and after weekends, holidays and other closures, customers may wish to visit OregonDMV.com to see if they can do their transaction online or by mail. If they wish to visit the Eugene office in person, they also may consider doing so either before Oct. 31 or after Nov. 12 because those days are likely to have longer lines.
During the Eugene office closure, customers who need to visit a DMV office in person can consider using the offices in nearby cities such as Springfield, Corvallis or Albany.
Remodeling at the Eugene DMV will include repair and replacement of flooring, new furniture and repainting. Removal of the drive-up window will coincide with a new customer express line and expanded lobby space for improved customer workflow.
For all DMV customers, DMV suggests that you first check www.OregonDMV.com or call the local office number before visiting a field office in person.
