Closures Sunday for the Portland Marathon
A series of restrictions and closures will be in place Sunday for the annual event
PORTLAND -- On Sunday, Oct. 5, the Portland Marathon will require the following restrictions and closures in the Portland area:
- U.S. 30 Bypass eastbound and westbound across the Willamette River (the St. Johns Bridge) will be restricted to 8 feet, 6 inches in width (the legal width) between 5 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. One lane will be open in each direction for traffic.
- U.S. 30 eastbound between the St. Johns Bridge and North Kittridge Avenue will be restricted to 8 feet, 6 inches in width between 5 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Bridge Avenue and U.S. 30 westbound left turn onto Bridge Avenue will be closed between 5 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Traffic will access U.S. 30 and the St. Johns Bridge from the north side of Bridge Avenue.
- The ramp from I-5 southbound exit 300B to the Morrison Bridge westbound will be closed between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. The ramp to Belmont Street (OMSI) will remain open at all times.
- The ramp from I-5 northbound exit 302C to Greeley Avenue will be closed between 5 a.m. And 2 p.m.
- The ramp from Interstate 405 northbound, exit 1B, to Southwest 4th Avenue will be closed between 5 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
