Weekend freeway ramp closures in Portland

Weekend maintenance closes Portland freeway ramps

Friday night closures on I-84 and I-205 interchange; Sunday morning closures I-5 at Terwilliger and Multnomah

Oregon Department of Transportation crews will perform sign, light and drainage maintenance on multiple freeway ramps this weekend requiring several on- and off-ramp closures. The closures will take place as follows:

Friday, Aug. 22 from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23

Interstate 84 eastbound off-ramp to Interstate 205 southbound will close for sign repairs. During the closure, travelers can take I-84 eastbound to the I-205 northbound off-ramp (exit 8) to the U.S. 30 Bypass West off-ramp (exit 23B) and head west to reach the I-205 southbound on-ramp.

Saturday, Aug. 23 from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m.

I-205 northbound off-ramp to I-84 westbound and the Northeast Glisan Street on-ramp to I-84 westbound will close to relocate signs and perform drainage repairs. During the closures, travelers can take I-205 northbound to the U.S. 30 Bypass West off-ramp (exit 23B), head west to reach the I-205 southbound on-ramp and take I-205 southbound to the I-84 westbound off-ramp (exit 21B).

Sunday, Aug. 24 from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Interstate 5 northbound Terwilliger Boulevard off-ramp and Multnomah Boulevard on-ramp will close for light pole repair. During the closures, travelers can use Southwest Barbur Boulevard to reach their destinations
