La Pine DMV to change office hours
Office to open on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays, add 30 minutes to business hours
The La Pine DMV field office’s hours of business will change to Thursdays instead of Tuesdays, and the office will be open a half hour longer. The changes will take effect the week of Sept. 1.
All DMV offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 1, for the Labor Day holiday.
The La Pine office has been open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays, closing for lunch from 12:15 to 1 p.m. The office is staffed one day a week by two employees from the Bend DMV. Because the Bend office is busier on Tuesdays than on Thursdays, DMV is shifting the La Pine business hours to Thursdays.
Because the change will take effect the week of Sept. 1, the office will open Thursday, Sept. 4, instead of Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The La Pine office also will open for business 30 minutes earlier starting Sept. 4. The new office hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a lunch closure from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
