ODOT To Close Romaine Village Way Access
BEND – As contractors near completion of the new 3rd Street overpass and Murphy Road Bridge over the Parkway (US97) in Bend, traffic managers will be removing the Romaine Village Way exit and entrance on US97. The closure is necessary as the new 3rd St. on-ramp to southbound US97 conflicts with Romaine Village Way.
This closure will take effect Monday August 11 at 6am and will be permanent. (Emergency egress will still be provided).
The $27 Million US97/Murphy Road project is a combined effort with the City of Bend to increase the east-west connectivity in south Bend, and eliminate two sets of signals.
