Expect delays along US 730 near Washington border
UMATILLA, Ore. – Travelers can expect flaggers, lane closures and delays along a section of U.S. Highway 730 three miles south of the Oregon-Washington Border, near mile post 200. Repair work on the railroad adjacent to the highway is continuing after last week’s train derailment. Crews will be performing lane closures, and flagging traffic through Monday-Friday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. All oversize loads will be accommodated, however, delays of up to 20 minutes can be expected. The estimated date of completion for all work is August 22nd.
