HALFWAY, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) will host a Public Open House Meeting January 22 to provide information and hear comments regarding the Hwy. 414: Pine Creek (Halfway) Flood Control Project. The purpose of the open house is to present three design options that would reduce the impacts of flooding in the area of Hwy. 414 east of Halfway. The meeting will held 6 – 8 p.m. at the Halfway Lions Club located at 235 Lion Street in Halfway. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

“The goal of the public meeting is to present various construction options and collect input from community members regarding proposed solutions,” said ODOT Project Leader Ken Patterson. “Comments collected will be used to help prioritize the options prior to beginning any in depth consideration of the designs.
