Access to Government Camp Loop is open at west end of the loop

GOVERNMENT CAMP – Watch for flaggers on U.S. 26 in Government Camp between the junctions with Timberline Highway and the east end of Government Camp Loop, as well as Timberline Highway this week.
We are repaving a section of U.S. 26 today and a section of Timberline Highway, also known as OR 173, today through Thursday.
During the work, Government Camp Loop Road is closed at its eastern junction with U.S. 26. Access to Government Camp is open from the western junction with U.S. 26.
Slow down and watch for flaggers and paving crews when traveling through the area.
Westbound passenger drivers should allow extra time to reach the Government Camp rest area. The rest area will not be accessible to westbound commercial trucks during the work.
