McMinnville – expect nighttime noise
OR 99W lane closures and flagging
We’re making curb ramps ADA-compliant in your community. ADA curb ramps benefit everyone regardless of whether they have a disability. By making curb ramps gently slope to the road, it improves accessibility and promotes safer travel between the sidewalk and road.
To do this work, we’ll close lanes on OR 99W at SW Clairmont Street nightly starting September 28 through October 2.
Flaggers will direct traffic through the single open lane during this period on OR 99W between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. daily. This work involves heavy equipment and will be noisy as we dig a trench across the road.
We appreciate your patience as we improve accessibility for all.

In general, during curb ramp construction, you can expect:
- Crews working during the day, some night work as needed.
- Sidewalk and curb ramp closures with pedestrian detours. Please follow the posted pedestrian detour routes to the nearest available crosswalk.
- Lane shifts, shoulder and lane closures with flaggers directing traffic as needed.
- Delays and construction noise – saw cutting can be loud.
- Businesses near the corners being worked on to remain open during construction.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
