Update: U.S. 30 pavement repairs postponed

Aug. 22, 2026

ASTORIA – Pavement repairs on U.S. 30 at the east end of Astoria have been postponed due to heavier-than-normal traffic expected for upcoming events.

The work previously scheduled for Monday, Aug. 24 through Wednesday, Aug. 26, between mileposts 97 and 98 will not take place next week.

Crews now plan to complete the repairs sometime after Labor Day. New dates will be announced once the schedule is confirmed.

Until then, travelers will not experience the lane closures or delays described in the original traffic alert.
