Pavement repairs on Oregon 99 in Ashland and Medford next week

Travelers should expect delays of less than 20 minutes

JACKSON COUNTY – ODOT maintenance crews will be in Ashland and Medford next week to repair cracked and rutted pavement on Oregon 99. Expect daytime lane closures with delays of less than 20 minutes and congestion near each work zone.

Monday, Aug. 24 and Tuesday, Aug. 25 – 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Work begins Monday in the southbound lanes of OR 99 (East Main Street) between Pioneer Street and Gresham Street in downtown Ashland. On Tuesday, crews will work in the northbound lanes (Lithia Way) between East Main Street and Helman Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 26 and Thursday, Aug. 27 – 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Crews will work on OR 99 between Beall Lane and Table Rock Road (MP 3.7-5.3) in Medford. Expect lane closures with pilot cars and flaggers providing traffic control.  

Drivers are urged to slow down in the work zone and watch for workers and equipment in the roadway. Consider an alternate route to avoid delays and congestion.
