Expect delays on Interstate Bridge on Friday night, Aug. 28-29

PORTLAND – Expect delays of 15 to 25 minutes on the Interstate Bridge from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday night, Aug. 28, for regular cable greasing of the bridge lifts.

The work might require up to 10 lifts in each direction, so plan extra time into your trip if you expect to use the bridge this Friday night. We expect this to be the last night needed this year for cable greasing on the Interstate Bridge.
