Interstate Bridge I-5 overnight closures July 13-16
PORTLAND – Regular inspections and maintenance of the Interstate Bridge will require overnight closures of I-5 in one direction each night July 13-16:
- Monday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 14: Southbound I-5 closed 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- Wednesday, July 15, and Thursday, July 16: Northbound I-5 closed 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Work under the bridge was completed by barge from the river. The top side of the bridge requires crews and equipment on the roadway, and raising the lifts, so these inspection and maintenance activities are being done at night.
