Travelers should expect single lane closures and intermittent delays during overnight paving operations on U.S. 97, U.S. 126 and U.S. 20 beginning Monday, July 13.
ODOT crews will patch ruts and deteriorated pavement to improve the driving surface. Weather permitting, all paving is expected to be complete by Aug. 6.
Here's what travelers can expect:
- Work will take place at night, Monday through Thursday, from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Single lane closures and intermittent, minimal delays during overnight work hours.
U.S. 97 in Redmond (July 13-16)
- Night paving on U.S. 97 between Yew Avenue and Evergreen Avenue.
U.S. 126 in Redmond (July 13-16)
- Night paving on westbound U.S. 126 near the NW 15th Street intersection.
U.S. 97 south of Bend (Beginning July 20)
- Crews will move to U.S. 97 between mileposts 140 and 149 near Lava Butte.
- Speeds on this section will be reduced from 65 to 50 mph during work hours.
U.S. 20 in Bend (Late July through early August)
- Crews will finish with paving on U.S. 20 between Robal Lane and Mervin Sampels Road in Bend.
Please slow down, watch for workers and equipment, and follow directions from flaggers and traffic control devices.
Where traffic is routed through or around a work zone, pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will also be provided routes through or around the work zone.
This schedule may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
