South West Area Commission on Transportation meets online Friday morning

ROSEBURG – The South West Area Commission on Transportation (SWACT) will meet virtually from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 10. The meeting is open to the public and time will be set aside for public input.

- SWACT membership updates.
- Transportation Safety Action Plan.
- ACT Charter review.
- Capital Investment Plan.
- Connect Oregon.
- Competitive Transit Grant Application review.
- ODOT Region 3 (South West Area) Manager update.
SWACT consists of local community leaders and other interested parties in Coos, Curry and Douglas Counties. Meetings are held up to six times a year to discuss local transportation issues relating to planning, funding and operations of the state transportation system.
The group also provides input to the Oregon Transportation Commission on local priorities of statewide importance and on statewide policy issues.
