Night paving on U.S. 30 Aug. 30 through Sept. 6

Astoria – Travelers should expect nighttime delays on U.S. 30 just east of Astoria between mileposts 87 and 92 while crews pave the highway.

Crews will place a new asphalt overlay on the highway to help extend the life of the pavement.

Work is scheduled Sunday through Thursday nights from Aug. 30 through Sept. 6 between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Please slow down and use caution in the work zone. Allow extra travel time and watch for crews and equipment.

What to expect:

  • Nighttime work.
  • Flaggers and pilot cars guiding traffic through the work zone.
  • Up to 20-minute delays.
  • Construction noise.
  • Crews and equipment in the area.

This work is weather dependent and schedules may change.
