Night paving repairs on OR 99 in Salem

SALEM – Travelers should expect nighttime lane closures and noise impacts on OR 99 in downtown Salem while ODOT maintenance crews repair pavement.

Crews will pave and repair Ferry Street (OR 99) from Church Street to Commercial Street.

Work is scheduled nightly from Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 23 from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Please slow down and use caution in the work zone. Allow extra travel time and watch for crews and equipment.

What to expect:

  • Nighttime work.
  • Single lane closures.
  • Lane shifts as needed.
  • Construction noise and delays

Nearby residents and businesses should be aware that grinding and paving operations can be loud. Some construction noise is expected overnight while work is underway.

This work is weather dependent and schedules may change.
