LA GRANDE — Correction to the earlier notice, this meeting is on July 9, not May 7. 

Original message: Northeast Area Commission on Transportation will meet Thursday, July 9, from 9 a.m. to noon Pacific Time. The meeting will be at the ODOT Region 5 office, 3012 Island Ave., La Grande.

The meeting is open to the public and time will be set aside for public comments. A virtual attendance option will be available via Microsoft Teams. The link to join is included in the meeting agenda, which includes updates on state, county, and city transportation projects, as well as other regional transportation topics.

An Area Commission on Transportation is an advisory body chartered by the Oregon Transportation Commission to help address all aspects of transportation.

The Northeast Area Commission on Transportation is composed of community leaders and other partners from Morrow, Umatilla, Wallowa, Union and Baker counties, as well as the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation.
