Lincoln City ADA Curb Ramps

Good news, Lincoln City – we're almost done with the ADA curb ramp work!

You may have seen crews picking up cones and other traffic control devices and wrapping up minor work.

Crews plan to return after Labor Day to build a retaining wall and one curb ramp north of D River. Crews will return in the fall to restore the landscape near the curb ramps we worked on.

Thank you for your patience as we make your community more accessible for everyone – whether you drive, ride, walk or roll!

When crews return after Labor Day, you can expect these impacts north of D River:

Crews working during the day or night, Monday through Thursday and Friday as needed.
U.S. 101 single-lane as needed.
Shoulder closures as needed.
Delays with flaggers directing traffic as needed.
Cones and traffic barrels blocking areas that are not open to the public.
Construction noise – drilling concrete piles and building a retaining wall can be noisy at times.
Business access to remain open during construction.

Community icon. Access for pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will be available through or around work zones.

Safety reminder

While you may not always see people working in a coned-off area, it doesn't mean it's not an active work zone.

Cones close off an area that is unsafe for pedestrians and vehicles to move through. The area will remain closed until crews are able to return, repair and reopen.

Please do not move cones or park in coned-off areas.
