Travelers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes

Crews repair pavement on OR 230 and OR 62

Maintenance crews repair pavement near the intersection of Oregon 230 and Oregon 62 on June 23.

June 23, 2026

Expect traffic delays as maintenance crews work on the following Southern Oregon highways this week:

Oregon 238, MP 11.73 to 11.9, south of Grants Pass.

On Wednesday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., crews will be repairing the shoulder on OR 238 near Water Gap Road, north of Williams. Expect delays of up to 20 minutes with flaggers providing traffic control. Flaggers will also control access to Water Gap Road. Work is scheduled to be completed in one day.

Oregon 62, MP 29 to 34, Lost Creek Lake area.

Beginning Wednesday, June 24, crews will be repairing pavement from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on OR 62 north of Shady Cove, between Casey Park and Joseph Stewart County Park campground access. Expect delays of up to 20 minutes with flaggers and pilot cars providing traffic control. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, June 26. Note: This work is separate from the OR 62: Lost Creek Lake Bridge project on the north end of the lake. Additional delays are possible.

Safety first

When traveling through highway work zones, be cautious. Reduce your speed and watch for workers and equipment in the roadway. Avoid distractions and never drive impaired.

Summer is road construction season in Oregon. Many projects are underway throughout the state and may cause travel delays. Before you go, be sure to check TripCheck.com for the latest information on road conditions and closures.
