BOARDMAN – Starting Monday, June 15, the Tower Road bridge at Exit 159 will close in both directions for four weeks.
Only the Tower Road bridge will close. All ramps at Exit 159 and Tower Road south of the eastbound off‑ramp will remain open. Travelers should watch for advance warning signs and follow posted detours.
Project schedule

June 15-July 13: Full closure of the Tower Road bridge. Love's Truck Stop will remain accessible for eastbound travelers and for westbound travelers using the detour.

July: Crews will complete paving, striping and sign installation. Expect occasional nighttime ramp and Tower Road bridge lane closures.
All work is scheduled for completion by August.
Detour
Follow the posted detour to reach Tower Road and Love's Truck Stop during closures.
Eastbound
Tower Road south of I-84 and Love's Truck Stop will remain accessible from Exit 159.
Westbound
To access Tower Road and Love’s Truck Stop, take Exit 151/Marty Myers Road, head east on I-84 and take Exit 159/Tower Road.
To return to westbound I-84 from Tower Road and Love’s Truck Stop, take Exit 159, travel east to Exit 165/Port of Morrow, and use the westbound I-84 on-ramp.
