ODOT’s Office of Engagement & Civil Rights continues to advance small business opportunity and accessibility through the Small Business Development Program (SBDP). Even in a challenging budget environment, OECR is actively partnering with other divisions across the agency to make a real difference for firms and communities statewide.

OR99W/OR153 ADA Curb Ramps in Amity: Approximately 75 curb ramps are being rebuilt to current ADA standards, improving safety and accessibility for pedestrians and supporting stronger community connections.

I‑84 ARTS Safety Upgrades – I‑5 to Hood River: Through the All Roads Transportation Safety (ARTS) Program, 15 ramp interchanges between Portland and Hood River are receiving improved lighting, signage, signals, and crosswalk enhancements to reduce severe crashes.

Wrong Way Driving Treatments (I‑5/OR569) in Eugene: This project enhances safety at exit ramps by adding signage and improving striping visibility to prevent wrong way driving.

ADA Curb Ramps in Mt. Angel: Improved curb ramps and flashing lights at school crossings will provide a safer experience for pedestrians and the traveling public.

Illumination Replacement on OR6 in Banks Replacing lights and poles to provide better visibility on the roadway and area interchanges.

Across Oregon, these projects reflect ODOT’s commitment to safer roads, more accessible infrastructure, and greater opportunity for small businesses to build capacity and grow.
