Cottage Grove to Martin Creek Road Repairs
|

Expect nighttime ramp closures late May into early June
We're closing the I-5 on and off-ramps to make repairs and pave. We plan to only close one ramp at a time nightly and reopen the next morning at 8 a.m.
Our schedule may change, but we plan to close:
- Exit 172 southbound off-ramp at 7 p.m. on May 20.
- Exit 172 northbound on-ramp at 7 p.m. on May 21.
- Exit 174 southbound on-ramp at 7 p.m. on May 31.
- Exit 174 northbound on-ramp 7 p.m. on June 1 and June 2 – this work is estimated to take two nights to complete.
- Exit 174 northbound off-ramp at 7 p.m. on June 3.
Visit TripCheck.com for the most up-to-date information on ramp closures.

If you're driving through the area, you can expect:
- Crews working mostly at night, from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.
- Single lane, shoulder and ramp closures as needed.
- The speed limit reduced to 55 mph in the work zone.
- Construction noise and delays.
Please use caution and watch for workers.

About the work we're doing
With this project, we are repairing or adding back:
- Guardrail as needed.
- Bridge surface and joints as needed.
- Pavement.
- The existing shoulder rumble strips.
- Permanent striping.
Rumble strips help alert drivers through sound and vibration that they're leaving their lane. This work will help extend the life of the road and bridges while giving you a smoother ride.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work. Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
