Safe Summer Driving

Information and tips for your summer road trip

Summer Driving Poster 3

Summer brings more family road trips, motorcycle riders taking in the scenery, people out walking, rolling and biking, and new teen drivers eager to hit the road. But with more vehicles on the road, traffic fatalities increase.

ODOT and safety officials remind drivers to help prevent crashes by slowing down, staying sober behind the wheel, and making sure everyone is buckled up. And remember, in heavy traffic, a little patience goes a long way.
