Background:
The Aubrey Mountain Fire burned in August 2025 between OR 58 and Dunning Road east of Oakridge. The fire left behind damaged and unstable trees on steep terrain above the highway. Removing these trees now helps reduce the risk of falling debris and improves safety for travelers.
ODOT is partnering with the U.S. Forest Service, Union Pacific Railroad and a local contractor to complete this work.
Please drive cautiously through the work zone and plan extra travel time.
