Plan ahead for a full bridge closure on Tuesday, March 17.

Full daytime bridge closure on March 17

While most of the work is happening under the bridge, we are fully closing the bridge again to complete the work safely.

During the closures, you can expect:

The Old Youngs Bay Bridge to close from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 17.
A signed detour around the closure using the U.S. 101 New Youngs Bay Bridge.

This work is weather-dependent and our schedule may change.

We appreciate your patience while crews replace some support beams and posts under the bridge.

As work continues, you can expect:

Crews working mostly during the day.
Single lane closures Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nighttime single lane closures as needed, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Construction noise and delays.

In the event of high or king tides, crews may need to switch to night work to stay on schedule. Please use caution when driving through the area.
