U.S. 101 Lincoln City ADA Curb Ramps
Stay tuned – the detour at SE 48th Place in Taft has been delayed
We originally planned to close westbound access to U.S. 101 from SE 48th Place starting March 2 while we worked on the curb ramps at both eastern corners.
Starting March 2, crews will work only on the northeast corner and no detour is required. To help keep our crews and the traveling public safe, we need to close the right lane of northbound U.S. 101.
On the night of March 3, we will turn off the traffic signal at the U.S. 101 and SE 48th Place intersection between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection.
We plan to come back and finish the southeast corner at this intersection after spring break. Stay tuned – we'll send out an update when we have a better idea about our schedule.

  Safety reminder
While you may not always see people working in a coned-off area, it doesn't mean it's not an active work zone.
Cones close off an area that is unsafe for pedestrians and vehicles to move through. The area will remain closed until crews are able to return, repair and reopen.
Please do not move cones or park in coned-off areas.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work. Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
