OREGON CITY – OR 99E will close under the Abernethy Bridge in Oregon City on Thursday and Friday nights, Feb. 12 and 13, for girder installation in the I-205 Abernethy Bridge Project.
The work will require closures from 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, to 5 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, and 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14. If the girder installation hasn’t been completed by Saturday morning, we might also close at 10 p.m. Saturday until early Sunday morning to finish the work.
The northbound off-ramp at Exit 9 to OR99E also will be closed at the same times.

Detours
- Drivers will be detoured onto Interstate 205 to bypass the closure.
- People walking and bicycling will experience short holds and flagging on OR 99E during the overnight closures but will be able to travel through with delays.
