U.S. 101 Lincoln City ADA Curb Ramps
We appreciated everyone's patience while access to NW 14th Street was closed. During the closure, crews built new curb ramps and installed push buttons for pedestrians to cross the street as part of our Lincoln City ADA curb ramp project. Now, you'll see us on the east side of U.S. 101 working on NE 14th Street.
Feb. 10 – 12, expect nighttime noise and single lane access closures from U.S. 101 to NE 14th Street
Working on the curb ramps at night is noisy and requires a single lane access closure between 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.
Here's what you can expect:
-
Crews working at night between 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. on NE 14th Street
-
NE 14th Street will be open to eastbound one-way traffic only between U.S. 101 and NE Keel Avenue nightly from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.
-
A signed detour for westbound NE 14th Street traffic to turn right onto NE Oar Avenue and turn left onto NE 17th Street to get to the traffic signal at U.S. 101.
- Two-way access to and from U.S. 101 to NE 14th Street to remain open during the day.
- The closure may last up to two weeks.
This work requires good weather and, depending on our progress, we may need to continue night work and detours Feb. 17 - 19. No detour will be in place over Presidents Day weekend, Feb. 14 - 16.
Closing westbound access to NE 14th Street from U.S. 101 helps us keep our crews safer, finish the work faster and maintain pedestrian access on the east side of the highway.

Don't forget to slow down and watch for workers
Other impacts you can expect when driving through Lincoln City:
- Crews working during the day, Monday through Thursday.
- Some Friday and night work as needed.
- Business access and parking to remain open during construction.
- Shoulder and lane closures as needed.
- Delays with flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.
- Construction noise – using saws to cut concrete can be loud and dusty.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work. Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
