SALEM – Effective January 12, 2026, this section of I-5 northbound and southbound will be closed at night from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
The estimated completion date for this work is January 15, 2026.

Detour
When this section of I-5 northbound and southbound is closed, there will be a signed detour route for local traffic, however, motor carriers will need to avoid traveling through the restricted area or use other alternative authorized routes.
