PENDLETON — Traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of U.S. 395 and Hailey Avenue/Tutuilla Road will require night work with lane closures and a brief signal outage the week of Nov. 2.
Crews are scheduled to work:
- 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4.
- 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Traffic signals will be turned off for up to four hours Monday night to allow for the installation of new signal heads. Signals will be turned back on before the morning commute to minimize disruptions. Crews may work additional nights if necessary.
Drivers should use extra caution in the area these nights and be prepared for flaggers, as well as right-lane and shoulder closures in all directions.
About the project
In August, crews installed new signal bases, poles and wiring. The signal replacement was delayed due to material shortages. With those issues resolved, the project is moving into its final phase — new signals installed, old signals removed and adjustments made. All signal upgrades are scheduled to be completed in a couple of weeks.
Thank you for your patience as we complete these important safety improvements.
Signals at U.S. 395 and Hailey Avenue/Tutuilla Road in Pendleton will be replaced in November.
