SW Oak Street will be closed July 30-Aug. 7 for railroad track replacement

HILLSBORO – SW Oak Street will be closed at SW Adams Avenue from 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, through Thursday, Aug. 7, while Portland & Western Railroad replaces tracks.

This will be an around-the-clock closure. SW Baseline will remain open.

Details:

  • Portland & Western Railroad is replacing their tracks approximately 500 feet further south, from last year’s endpoint of work down through the intersection at SW Oak Street.
  • Construction is from July 30 through Aug. 7, the closure is 24/7.
  • All work is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 8.
  • Work schedules can change due to weather and other factors
