 Newport DMV will close July 7 for HVAC work, reopen July 8

NEWPORT – The Oregon DMV Newport office at 158 N.E. 5th St. will be closed July 7 for HVAC work to keep our customers cool this summer. The office will reopen July 8. All Oregon DMV offices will be closed July 4 in observance of Independence Day.
During the closure, the nearest open DMV location is Corvallis, or you can access more than 20 services online at DMV2U.
When we reopen July 8, Newport DMV office hours will remain the same, whether by appointment or dropping in:
- 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Wednesday
- Closed Saturday, Sunday
