Immediate Maintenance Improvements

Good news – we're making progress!

We've been making safety improvements at the OR 22 and OR 51 intersection.

If you're driving through the area, you'll notice that things look a little different.

We've changed how you access OR 22 at the intersection:

No left turns from 55th Avenue onto eastbound OR 22.
No left turns from northbound OR 51 onto westbound OR 22. Drivers on OR 51 can use S Oak Grove Road to access westbound OR 22.

You may still see crews in the area working on signs and wrapping up other remaining work.

Future Intersection Improvements

OR 22: Rickreall Road to Doaks Ferry Road NW Project

We're making these intersection improvements with the limited funding we have. We have a project that is planning for long-term safety improvements at this location.

The project is studying the area to recommend a design plan that improves safety at the OR 22 and OR 51 intersection and supporting access roads. At this time, we don't have funding for construction.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.

Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
