Oregon DMV back online after morning outage

SALEM -- This morning, a partner vendor issue contributed to an Oregon DMV system outage that prevented us from issuing licenses and ID cards, including REAL IDs, and vehicle registrations. The outage lasted from approximately 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Oregon DMV is now back to normal operations serving customers, although it will take time to catch up due to the backlog. Our SMS text messaging remains unavailable, and we're actively working on restoring that service. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience.
