Starting today: OR 47 closes at Messing Creek in Mist

Road Work Alert

OR 47 full road closure June 16 - August 21

You've likely seen us in Mist starting to replace the Messing Creek culvert.
OR 47 is temporarily closing at the creek while we complete this work safely.

From June 16 to August 21, you can expect:

OR 47 to stay closed on both sides of Messing Creek in Mist.
A signed detour to get around the closure using OR 47, Apiary Road and U.S. 30.
No pedestrian or local access across the bridge.
Crews working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Occasional night work as needed.
Construction noise and delays.
