 Ashland DMV will close June 13 for facility work, reopen June 16

Ashland – The Oregon DMV Ashland office at 600 Tolman Creek Road will be closed June 13 for facility work to better serve our customers. The office will reopen June 16.
During the closure, you can visit our offices in Medford or Grants Pass. You can renew your driver registration at the Oregon DMV Express Kiosk in Medford or access more than 20 services online at DMV2U or by phone or mail.
When we reopen June 16, Ashland DMV office hours will remain the same, whether by appointment or dropping in:
- 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Wednesday
- Closed midday daily from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
- Closed Saturday, Sunday
We recommend always checking the status of a DMV office before visiting.
With the arrival of the REAL ID enforcement date, we continue to see greater demand at many DMV offices. Expect longer lines and longer wait times than normal. It takes up to three weeks to receive your REAL ID card in the mail, so if you are planning on boarding a plane, make sure you have REAL ID-compliant identification in time for your trip. You only need a REAL ID if you are 18 and older and will travel in the U.S. by plane without a valid passport or other federally accepted identification. If you aren’t flying soon, consider waiting to get a REAL ID until it’s time to renew your credential.
