Railroad crossing replacements will require closures in Hillsboro, Tigard this summer

June 18, 2025

HILLSBORO-TIGARD – Three railroad crossings on state highways in Hillsboro and Tigard will close for several days each this summer so that the railroad can replace the crossings.

Watch for detour signs during work in these areas on these dates:

  • June 26/27 to June 30: SW Durham Road will be closed on the west side of OR 141, SW Upper Boones Ferry Road, in Tigard. (This closure will begin between Thursday evening and Friday morning.)
  • July 30 to Aug. 7: Eastbound OR 8 – SW Oak Street – will be closed at SW Adams Avenue in Hillsboro. Westbound OR 8 – SW Baseline Street – will remain open.
  • Aug. 11 to 15: OR 219, First Avenue, will be closed between SE Cosmic Lane and SE Clipper Lane in Hillsboro.

Work schedules can change, so please visit TripCheck.com to plan your trip just before hitting the road.
