Watch for detour on Interstate 5 in Portland during power line installation

PORTLAND – Interstate 5 will close from 11 p.m. Thursday, June 12, to 4 a.m. Friday around NE Broadway so that Pacific Power can install a new power line across the interstate.

A detour will be in place during the closure. Please plan a little extra time into your trip if you are traveling on I-5 in Portland on Thursday night after 11 p.m. Also, please slow down and watch out for crews setting up and taking down the detour and closure signs and equipment.
