I-205 Abernethy Bridge Project Updates

Bridge foundation work continues

One of the final pieces of foundation work needed to make the Abernethy Bridge able to withstand a major earthquake started this week. This portion of the project will require pile driving at the base of the bridge on the Oregon City side during daylight hours and is expected to last four weeks once underway. (Pictured at right, a pile driver moving into place for foundation work.)

We know the noise from construction work can be disruptive. We appreciate your patience.

Residents in the vicinity of the construction area should anticipate elevated noise levels while this work is occurring. A 24/7 nighttime noise hotline is available at: 503-276-7809.

Follow the progress live on the project construction cameras.
