Newberg-Dundee Bypass Phase 2A
|
Things are moving along on Phase 2A of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass
This week we're shifting traffic on OR 18 to the south and OR 219 to the east so we can set up hard barriers to prepare for the next steps of construction – widening OR 219 between S Springbrook Road and OR 18 and working on the new westbound OR 18 on-ramp.
Plan ahead
Over the next week or two you may see a flagger holding traffic briefly on OR 18.
We're using off-road dump trucks to bring materials from one side of OR 18 to the other.
This shouldn't impact your travels, but please give yourself a little extra time in case of delays.
|

If you're driving through the work zone, you can expect:
- 35 mph speed limit on OR 219.
- Equipment moving in and around the area.
- Construction noise and delays.

Check out what we are building in and around your community!

|
Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
