Newberg-Dundee Bypass Phase 2A

We're making progress!

You may not be able to see it from the road, but we've been working hard on Phase 2A of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass.

What's next?

This week, you'll see us paving and applying temporary striping to prepare for traffic to shift.

Next week, we plan to shift OR 219 traffic to the east and OR 18 traffic to the south before setting up hard barriers. The hard barrier separates the crew from traffic, making the work zone a little safer.

After traffic has shifted, we'll start work on:

• Widening OR 219 between S Springbrook Road and OR 18.
• The new westbound OR 18 on-ramp.

If you're driving through the work zone, you can expect:

• 35 mph speed limit on OR 219.
• Equipment moving in and around the area.
• Construction noise and delays.

Don't forget to watch for the posted speed limit, use caution and keep an eye out for our workers.
