NEPA and Section 106 Training - Oregon Department of Transportation

This training will provide an overview of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Section 106 as they apply to federally-funded transit projects. Participants will learn key concepts, requirements, processes, and best practices for achieving compliance while keeping transit projects on track. This session will cover the NEPA and Section 106 requirements and processes, roles and responsibilities, and common challenges and solutions. This session is designed for transit personnel who use Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant awards to remain in compliance with environmental requirements.
