SALEM — The Oregon Transportation Commission will hold its regular meeting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 8. The meeting will originate from the Gail Achterman Conference Room of the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol Street NE, Salem.
Items on the agenda include:

I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project: Receive an update on the I-5 Rose Quarter improvement Project cost estimate and process for federal authorization to begin Phase 1A construction this summer.

Interstate Bridge Replacement Update: Receive an update on the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program, including details about the schedule, preparing for delivery of program improvements and upcoming amendments to the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.

2025 Legislative Session Update: Receive an update on the ongoing legislative session, including the agency’s efforts toward a transportation funding package.

Mid-Willamette Valley Area Commission on Transportation Update: Receive an informational update on the MWACT 2023-2025 Work Plan.

Vulnerable User Crash Response Program Progress (Safety Action Plan Spotlight): Receive an informational update on the progress of the new Vulnerable User Crash Response Program and share finding of the annual report.

Please note participation will be limited to one representative per organization. Commenters (and organizations) who are providing public comment to the OTC for the first time will be given priority for the limited available testimony spots.
