We're starting work on OR 47 at Messing Creek!

Have you heard that we're replacing the Messing Creek culvert?

You'll see us in Mist soon – we're setting up the work zone on OR 47!

We'll install cones and signs to prepare for construction on the Messing Creek culvert.

If you're going through the area, you can expect:

Crews working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Occasional night work as needed.
Lane and shoulder closures with flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.
Construction noise and delays.

What to expect when the closure starts in June:

OR 47 on either side of Messing Creek to close on June 16 through August 21.
A signed detour around the closure using OR 47, Apiary Road and U.S. 30.
Delays and construction noise.

The new culvert will help improve road drainage and fish passage.
