The 2024-2025 Construction Training season is winding down. Our 2025-2026 Construction Training Schedule will be available for enrollment in early September. Please see the 2024-2025 Construction Training and Certification Schedule to reference the general timing of future courses to be offered.

ODOT Material Supplier Workshop

Do you want to view the presentations and watch the recording of the ODOT Material Supplier Workshop (4/14/25)? Go to the ODOT Environmental Product Declaration resource page. Links are available under the Material Supplier Workshop heading. 

This workshop highlights the pending requirements for environmental product declarations (EPDs) on ODOT Projects. It also discusses how materials and EPDs will be tracked in AASHTOWare and e-Ticketing. The primary audience for this information is material suppliers. This includes those who provide concrete, shotcrete, precast concrete, concrete masonry units, asphalt paving mixtures, structural steel or reinforcing steel to ODOT. This workshop was designed for:

• Individuals involved with ODOT highway construction contracts.
• Companies that supply ORS 184.879 covered materials that require EPDs.
• Those working in AASHTOWare Project who enter material data.

If you're working on or supplying material to an AASHTOWare Project contract with ODOT, specialized in-person material training is available! Register for your class in Workday.

Plan Reading Series (1 hour) - New to Construction? Go through the first module prior to an inspector training course. You can familiarize yourself with the basics of plan reading.

Math Module - If it has been a while since your last math class, this is useful as background for all of the certification courses.

Construction Materials Technician Training

Construction materials technician training will be administered through our Industry Partners: Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon, American Concrete Institute of Oregon and Oregon Concrete and Aggregate Producers Association.
