The public comment period is open for Oregon’s State Management Plan 2025 Update for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) programs. Public comments can be submitted using the Public Comment form until April 18, 2025.
The current State Management Plan is required to be updated to meet federal requirements. There have been several major policy and regulatory changes that necessitate this update. ODOT’s Public Transportation Division (PTD) developed a revised State Management Plan to comply with federal requirements and maintain the operational integrity of the document that our providers have come to rely on.
We need your input to ensure this meets the needs of Oregon’s transit providers. A copy of the new 2025 version, as well as a “” document that detail the major updates from the 2015 document are now available.
A short presentation and Q&A session will also take place during the Public Transportation Advisory Committee (PTAC) meeting on April 8. Find the link to join on ODOT’s PTAC website.
PTD staff will then review all comments and feedback and apply them where appropriate to the final version before sending it off to the FTA for approval in May. Thank you in advance for your feedback on this important and necessary update!
