Project Update |
|
|
Main Street and Mill Street traffic signals to be off starting Saturday, March 22.
Crews have been working hard on the Mill Steet Reconstruction project.
Our utility partner Sub Electric needs to move the power lines to the newly installed poles this Saturday, March 22.
You can expect the traffic signals on Main Street and Mill Street to have no power. It should be restored the same day but may be down through the weekend if necessary.
Please use caution when driving through the area.

 About the project
We're rebuilding Mill Street between A Street and Centennial Boulevard to make the area safer whether you drive, ride, walk or roll.
You can expect:
- Crews working during the day, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- 24/7 single lane closures on Mill Street from South A Street to Centennial Boulevard.
- Mill Street to be restricted to one-way traffic between Main Street and Centennial Boulevard.
- Northbound traffic is shifted to the westside of the street.
- Southbound traffic can go around the work zone on adjacent streets.
- 'E' Street is open for use to cross Mill Street.
- Pedestrian crossing to be limited, follow signed detours.
- Parking to not be allowed on Mill Street.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
