Project Update |
|
|
Some of the signs along U.S. 101 and U.S. 101B are worn and outdated.
We're replacing the damaged signs with new ones that meet current standards.
We're working on the New Youngs Bay Bridge for the next two weeks starting Monday, March 10, 2025.
|
 Expected impacts
We plan to start work next week. When we do, you can expect:
- Crews working at night from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Single lane and shoulder closures as needed, Monday through Thursday.
- Flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.
- Delays.
These new signs will help make the area safer, making it easier for drivers to know the speed limit, see upcoming landmarks and destinations.

Pay attention in work zones, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
