Starting Feb. 24 – Clow Corner Road Closure
|
Aerial view of OR 99W and Clow Corner Road, showing construction on the new roundabout
We're starting work again at the OR 99W and Clow Corner Road intersection.
To continue building the roundabout, we're closing Clow Corner Road in two stages.
The first road closure starts Monday, Feb. 24.
You can expect:
- Clow Corner Road, east of OR 99W, to close for about five months.
- A signed detour to get around the closure.
- Nighttime lane closures on OR 99W as needed.
- Construction noise and delays.
Don't forget – the speed limit is reduced to 45 mph in the work zone. Use caution and watch for workers.

Later this year, we'll close Clow Corner Road again
A second Clow Corner Road closure, west of OR 99W, that will start after we've finished the work on the eastside. This closure will last up to 90 days while we connect the road to the roundabout and remove the old highway. We plan to reopen the road no later than fall 2025.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work! Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember that fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
